Madhuraj Nursing Home is a highly recognised tertiary care, super-speciality hospital in Uttar Pradesh.

It was conceptualized in 1970 by
Dr. Madhu Loomba & Dr. R.K. Loomba, who started in their humble little way through a small clinic. They were the pioneers to bring forth the concept of a Nursing Home in the medically primitive town of Kanpur & bloomed with their pursuits of excellence in the year 1983 by the foundation of MADHURAJ NURSING HOME. It was formally inaugurated by the then Minister of Health, Govt. of U.P.

The Nursing home was housed in an elegant building in the posh locality of Swaroop Nagar, Kanpur (Near Moti jheel, opposite to Shivaji Gate). This started with 30 beds (of which 15 were private), a Labour room and 2 well equipped Operation theatres for managing routine medical & surgical cases. The available facilities were addressed to benefit all sections of the society.

In 1990, it blossomed into a 99 bedded hospital with all major & minor specialities & super- specialities finding a place under one roof with latest upgraded technologies & equipment.

Since then to meet the medical needs of the society and keeping in pace with the rapid growth of medical care & diagnostics the management decided to undertake an on going upgradation in all the specialities. As on date the hospital has made available all specialties & superspecialties under one roof.
